Kindness is one of the key ingredients of mindfulness meditation. It is also a fruit of the Spirit produced in the heart by the work of the Holy Spirit. In this meditation we seek to cultivate kindness towards self and towards others by cooperating with the Holy Spirit. We seek to apply this through forgiveness of self and of others. We seek to let God be God even in the face of disappointment when life does not work out the way we expect or think it should have worked out.
